The foundation of our solution is ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC), which creates clean, renewable energy in the form of electricity and/or biofuels. Historically, island and coastal communities relied on costly imports of fossil fuels. We take advantage of a plentiful resource (ocean water) and leave no pollution or emissions behind. OTEC enables our clients to achieve energy independence.

On top of this OTEC foundation is a customizable set of economic development “plug-ins” that use the deep ocean water in multiple ways. Our proprietary business modelling tools help our clients to optimize which businesses make the most sense for their local economy. This can result in hundreds or even thousands of new jobs so the community can become a talent magnet of the future.
